What is Eau de Toilette?

An Eau de Toilette (EDT) is a light and fresh perfume formulated with between 8-12% of perfume oils. It’s more than a body spray or a Cologne but less than an Eau de Parfum (EDP). It translates from French as "dressing water."

Blooming Iris

The fragrance begins with a luminous trio of mandarin, angelica, and iris, creating an uplifting introduction. The heart glows with a balanced blend of iris wood, violet, and cedar, bringing softness and depth. In the base, warm musk, gentle heliotrope, and creamy tonka bean round out the composition. 

The result is a serene and sophisticated fragrance ideal for fans of iris violet perfume, powdery perfume, and subtle flower bloom perfume elegance.

⌛ How long does Eau de Toilette last?
It depends on two factors: Perfume concentration and the olfactory family of the perfume raw material. An Eau de Toilette is composed of 8-12% of perfume oil, it’s more concentrated than an Eau de Cologne but less than an Eau de Parfum. The more concentrated is a perfume, the more the perfume is strong but it’s not the only factor: the raw material used also has an impact on the strength of the fragrance. For instance, Essences like Jasmine, Rose or Orange Blossom will be stronger than fresher scents like Verbena.

In terms of duration, an Eau de Toilette will last between 3 to 4 hours depending on those two elements. If you want to keep the perfume presence all day long, you can spray your Eau de Toilette again during the day, or use our Perfume roll-on to add some fragrance hints easily.

Depending on the result you look for there are multiple ways to use it:
- Apply on clean, moisturized skin: hydration will retain scent longer.
- Target pulse points: These areas include your wrists, neck, behind your ears and inner elbows. The warmth from these spots helps to diffuse the fragrance. Avoid rubbing the fragrance after application as this can break down the scent molecules and diminish its longevity.

All of Panier des Sens' Elixir Floral are made in France. They are imagined and created by a Master Perfumer in the city of Grasse, where the French Perfume “savoir-faire” is born. Each fragrance is the result of about 2 years of product development, from imagining the scent to building the olfactory notes and finding the best perfume essence and raw materials, each step is important to get the best creation possible.
